This collaboration with designer Eudon Choi and milliner Piers Atkinson debuted at Eudon’s AW13 show Varykino at Somerset House. His collection tells the story of the Russians that fled to America during The Great Terror.

The brief was to create a series of silk headscarves inspired by Dr Zhivago and Russian folk that were to be decorated with flowers for the catwalk show.  My design incorporated hand-illustrated Russian floral patterns, Eurasian wolves and re-workings of birds from John James Audubon’s Birds of America.
